Singapore Airlines Limited is the national airline of Singapore, and has recently received a prestigious five star rating by Skytrax. Its main operating hub is based at Singapore Changi Airport, but also has a strong presence in Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia, and the ‘Kangaroo Route’ markets. It ranks amongst the top 15 carriers in the world in terms of revenue passenger kilometres. It is also the 11th largest airline in Asia and the 6th in the world for international passengers carried. In 2009, Singapore Airlines was also ranked 33rd in the world as one of the ‘Most Admired Companies’ by Fortune Magazine. Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Fiji Airways have signed a code-share agreement which will see the Fiji added to the Singapore Airlines route network. Fiji Airways will also be able to gain access to Singapore Airline’s route which will vastly expand their global reach.
